Port City Racecars and Racing America Form a Digital Content Partnership That Includes the Creation of Short Track Diaries
Port City Racecars and Racing America have quickly formed a digital content partnership. PCR will produce a new, original episodic documentary called Short Track Diaries. Special thanks to Colin Smith and his team at Racing America for making this happen!
The episodes will be filmed at PCR’s headquarters in Mooresville, NC as well as other likeminded companies in the Lake Norman area. The storylines that will hopefully get surfaced will be the individual amateur racers that compete in short track asphalt oval racing, their stories as well as the people/entrepreneurs that design and produce all the parts and pieces that go into building the race cars.
Both professional and amateur racing looks to be on a massive surge of late and PCR wants to be able to tell the story of the people that are spending their own money to race on Saturday nights….because they absolutely love it.
The episodes will be carried on both Racing America and Port City Racecars social media platforms as well as Racing America’s new 24/7 streaming channel which is currently live on LG, VIZIO, XUMO, Airy TV, Local Now, Netgem, Plex, Sports.tv and STIRR (with additional platforms to follow in the coming months.). Filming of the pilot will start to take place next week and should be completed by the end of March.
